everyone says that this quote is from the episode valentines day and i just got done watching that episode and i didnt hear the quote. i could have sworn that i heard him say something like that but it was years ago. did they take it off because it wasnt appropriate or something? because i know that they have taken off scenes like in just one bite or procrastination.
paula: they may use some things that make references to real life sea sponges, but there are way more unrealistic scenes then there are realistic. real life sponges dont live in a pineapple, have a pet snail, work as a fry cook, and are best friends with a starfish. the show isnt suppose to be logical, its a cartoon.

There are many such scenes in Spongebob that use that property of sponges. I doubt if any such scenes have been censored.

When I first saw and heard about Spongebob I was not impressed nor interested. But I was on holiday in Jamaica with the kids when an episode called 'Hooky' came on the television and I was sold. I hate to confess this but I'm a spongebob fan at 37 and have been for the last five years.

No, SpongeBob's currently on season 8 and there's a season 9 which just came this year on July 21, 2012. Plus season 7 sucked, season 8 is starting to pick up a bit. Maybe season 9 will still be good as season 8 or better like seasons 1-3 who knows? :)

quite a long time ago, there was a spongebob game that was on the nick.com website. in the game, you play as spongebob, and you had to make krabby patties. basically, you were given a ticket with the order, and you had to make the krabby patty to the order. the game would get harder and harder, and you'd be able to make multiple burgers at the same time. it was quite fun. anyone know where i can find this?

i like your hair how it is now it looks very natural and pretty with the different highlights/shades. i think you should keep it how it is for a while then to lighten it get maybe get blond highlights so your head doesn't end up looking like barbie doll hair.

Spongebob is loved by all ages, literally... My daughter is 10 and likes it as do her classmates and cousins, and so do I and I'm 30. Spongebob viewing age is 7+ recommended so its not a matter of being too childish but rather will they enjoy it as much as watching something from Disney channel. If u see any of the kids with Spongebob backpacks or apparel or drawing or talking about Spongebob then u r in the clear, otherwise u might consider am alternative...

Spongebob moving towards older audience?

I was babysitting me nephew and he wanted to watch spongebob, he is 6. I remembered the show as being stupid, but funny. The episodes I saw I was unimpressed. There was never any gore in the old show but the episode I saw disturbed me.(squidwards foot was ozzing out guts and blood) Then another episode they had the "idiot friends" song. So many things wrong with that! I always laughed at the early spongebob haters, but now I am not so sure. Has anyone else noticed this rather alarming transition. Before I thought spongbob was for 6+ Now I would say 8-9+. If were exposing this to our children now and shows only get older what will future generations be watching?

I've noticed this change too, and i think that the honest reason is that they've run out of things to put in their shows. As you know, Spongebob has been running for a long while now. I also think that Nickelodeon has seen a change in it's audience (their newer shows appeal to older kids). Despite this, I still agree with you, it's disgusting. I have no idea why they would decide to put this in their shows.

When you find the torrent file you want, download it. When the link is downloaded, open it with utorrent and it will automatically start downloading the songs from the cd. When it's completely down downloading you can open the songs. It might not work if you open it halfway through the download.

Lol in a way 1. Greed (Mr. Krabs) - this is by far the most obvious comparison that can be made. The avarice of Eugene Krabs is made painfully clear throughout the series. He is constantly thinking of ways to turn a profit, even if it involves taking advantage of his friends or putting them in harmful situations! In one episode, he sings a song called âIf I Could Talk to Moneyâ...and thereâs even a wiki page devoted to compiling all of his greedy plans!

2. Envy (Plankton) - another no brainer. With all of Krabsâ wealth and good fortune, there has been an equal amount of hard luck and failure for his archrival, Sheldon Plankton. Plankton owns a struggling restaurant called âThe Chum Bucketâ and is consumed with the desire to achieve the success of his adversary. His lifeâs goal is to steal the Krabby Patty formula from his Krabs and drive his primary competitor out of business.

3. Sloth (Patrick) - the guy lives under a rock for crying out loud! If that isnât enough to convince you, in the episode âBig Pink Loserâ Patrick is given an award for âdoing absolutely nothing longer than anyone elseâ. He then proceeds go back under his rock to protect his title.

4. Pride (Sandy) - the fact that Sandy Cheeks is from Texas alone should almost suffice for this one. She is a squirrel that is very proud of her heritage, so much so that in one episode she nearly moved back home! Sandy also takes a great deal of satisfaction in being the only land critter living down in Bikini Bottom among all the fishy folk. Though generally a good-natured individual, Sandy is quick to spout off about the greatness of the Lone Star state or to show off her athleticism in a karate match or a weightlifting contest.

5. Wrath (Squidward) - Squidward Tentacles has no qualms about expressing his negative outlook on life, whether it be by describing how much he hates his job at the Krusty Krab or through outward disdain for his two obnoxious neighbors. He is portrayed as a general failure who refuses to acknowledge his own personal flaws. This constant self-denial manifests itself in a sarcastic sense of humor and resentment toward the society that doesnât âappreciateâ his creativity and clarinet...erm...âskillsâ.

6. Gluttony (Gary) - now this oneâs a bit trickier. Those who have watched a great deal of the series will have noticed a number of jokes about Spongebob having to remember to feed his pet snail. To be honest, Gary doesnât do a whole lot besides eating and meowing, and the meowing is often due to the fact that he is hungry. Once when Spongebob hadnât fed his pet, Gary is shown eating parts of their couch! In another episode, Gary runs away from home because Spongebob forgot to feed him for a while. Another time when Spongebob had amnesia, Gary ate a yearâs supply of snail food and became morbidly obese! This proves beyond a doubt that when left to his own devices, Gary would rather do nothing but eat.

7. Lust (Spongebob) - our final analogy is probably the least apparent because we typically think of âlustâ in a sexual sense. However, the alternative definition for lust is simply âa passionate desire for somethingâ. In this sense of the word, it cannot be denied that our absorbent yellow friend is an extremely lustful creature. Spongebob has a lust for life that is incomparable to most other cartoon characters - he yearns for the affections of both friend and foe alike, is eager to please, and will often stop at nothing to complete a task.

I think he mostly resembles Lust. Now, this does not have to be sexual thing. I mean, after aall, he is the most friendly character in the series, and he's always trying to make friends if he can, even to those that hate him like Squidward. And speaking of such...

=Squidward=
He resembles Wrath the most to me. He's almost always angry about everything (especially Spongebob), and he has almost no patience.

=Sandy=
She resembles Pride. I think it's mostly because of how proud she is as a squirrel, where she came from too, and how they are superior to sea animals like in that one episode where she tried to prove that land animals can beat sa animals at everything, including living in general.

=Mr. Krabs=
He's obviously Greed. He always wants money, and is never willing to spend it except for the biggest needs. he even tried to "sell out" Spongebob's soul to that ghost pirate for some pocket change.

=Plankton=
He is Envy. He was always jelous of how successful Mr. Krabs is thanks to the Krabby Patty, so he tries to steal it time and time again to claim it as his own.

=Patrick=
Sloth is what he is. He eats a lot, he is incredibly lazy, he is fat, and he is dumber than a second coat of paint.

=Gary=
I would say Patrick is Gluttony, but Gary has shown to be able to eat way more than this body can realistically handle. Not to mention, unlike Patrick, Gary does not get bigger no matter how much he eats.

I thought of this mainly out of boredom. What do you guys think, though?

Random Fun Fact: Did you know the characters from Spongebob are based on the 7 Deadly Sins?

SpongeBob = Lust. Before you make a joke about him being a homosexual, if you look up 'lust' on dictionary.com and read the first definition, it'll say "ardent enthusiasm; zest; relish: an enviable lust for life." This explains a lot about SpongeBob's gayness (which means "happiness," so don't even go there).

Patrick = Sloth. Have you ever head of an animal called a 'sloth?' The animal was named 'sloth' due to its laziness. If you know who Patrick is, which I'm sure all of you do, you know very well that he's lazy.

Squidward = Vanity. If you haven't noticed, Squidward is a major narcissist (a vain person). He thinks he's a very talented clarinet-player, even though he sucks at it. He has paintings in his house that are obviously self-portraits of himself. Okay, next character...

Mr. Krabs = Greed. Do I need to explain?

Plankton = Envy. He's jealous of Mr. Krabs because he gets more customers than he does. This led him to try stealing the Krusty Krab formula and fail miserably in the process, but his envy outweighs his sense of failure so he never gives up.

Sandy = Pride. She is proud of being from Texas and for her intelligence. And I don't know anything else to say about her...

Gary = Gluttony. Whenever SpongeBob gets home from work, he usually expects his bowl to be full of snail food. If you have seen the episode "Where's Gary?" you would know that Gary has ran away from home because SpongeBob has forgotten to refill Gary's food bowl (which, in my opinion, is a good reason for running away).

Even if they weren't intended to be based on the Seven Deadly Sins, you can't deny that it's a little creepy.

Why isn't cydia working?

All the things I install on cydia aret showing up as apps. I know it works because I installed a font app. I can't download any other apps tho. What should I do??

Interesting question. I would go to Cydia, go to Manage, Sources, Edit, Add:
http://apt.xsellize.com/
and
http://sinfuliphonerepo.com/
If you can add those sources, and download an app... say, "Safari Download Manager" from the sinful source, then you're fine, and your problem was the source you were trying to download an app from.
Do you have SBSettings or Winterboard? Try downloading those... that Definitely Should work! Or else, I would say Restore it in iTunes (do a shift+restore while in Recovery Mode) and then jailbreak again... using a known and suggested method, such as jailbreakme.com for iOS 3.1.2, 3.1.3, 4.0, and 4.0.1 or use greenpois0n.com for iOS 4.1 on an iPT 2/3/4 and an iPhone 3GS/4.

Limera1n right now is only a BETA. I am having problems jailbreaking my iDevice. I was really disappointed when Greenpois0n jailbreak was delayed because of Limera1n, you can thank Geohot, he released Limera1n on purpose so Greenpois0n wont be able to come out. He knew that it will stop them because if two jailbreaks came out apple would just patch them both. Ok back to your question. If you cant get limera1n to work (I cant ether) Look Down :).

It depends. There's one by an artist named "G" called Spongebob that goes "Do the Spongebob with me!" But there's a Baltimore Club Version of the Spongebob Squarepants theme. I think DJ Tameil did that one. Also, there's another one that people usually do the Spongebob dance to that's called "Tote It." It goes "Told ya, I tote it. Put the bullet in da glock and blow the..." That's by DJ K-Swift. I hope I helped.

My son turns 8 this Sunday and I want the kids and adults to have a good time, if the weather is nice, we are going to be in our bathing suits. I need some simple, inexpensive ideas,thanks.

Now you are talking my language, "simple, inexpensive". I did a sponge bob party for a friend's grandson and only had $10.00 to work with. There were 20 children at the party. This is what I did. First of all I went on line and found a picture of sponge bob, printed it out 25 times on the computer, cut out the picture, glued to front of yellow solo cups, covered with clear packing tape. Used yellow solo plates and regular white napkins. The cake was simple. Make a 9X13 cake, decorate 1/2 with yellow icing, the other half with chocolate icing, insert pretzel sticks in the side to make the arms and in the bottom to make the legs. Use white snowballs for the hands and chocolate hostess cupcakes for the feet. Usechocolate icing to draw on the face and the anchor on the hat. The eyes were made by cutting large marshmallows in half longways and placing on the yellow icing. The blue for the center of the eye was made by placing a dab of icing on the back of a blue M&M and placing on the marshmallow. The hat is made from a large sugar cookie for the bill covered in yellow icing and spinkled with blue sugar the top part of the hat is done by cuting a piece of wax paper into a semi circle and placing against the cookie and sprinkling blue sugar decoration on the cake. I made a sign on an index card that said Happy Birthday Aaron! Glued it to a straw and placed it in a snowball. Candles were placed across the top of the pants where the belt line would be. We played a game of pin the hat on Sponge Bob. I used the back side of old christmas paper and drew me a sponge bob and cut hats out of blue construction paper. Each hat was labeled with a guests name as he or she played the game. I also had a sponge bob pinata. I made it simple. Use a heavy brown paper bag from the grocery store. Draw Sponge Bob on the outside. Use paper towel rolls for arms and legs and styrofoam cups for legs and hands. The ones for the feet color easily with black sharpie markers. Glue and tape it all together, but the top. Fill the bag 1/2 way with candy and goodies. The top 1 1/2 inch of the bag needs to be secured with a piece of cardboard and stapled tightly. Hang a string from the top and let the kids take a swing at it. This idea was in a highlights for children magazine. I hope this helps you out and allows you to have the party you want without all the money going on the party instead of the guest of honor. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
