Help! i am doing a cell analogy project where basically you have to relate each organelle to a certain thing based on its function. For example if you picked a town, the town hall would be the nucleus, because they both carry out instructions etc. I picked Bikini Bottom but I am having trouble thinking of things..Any ideas for ribosomes, vacuole and other organelles?
Answer
You could relate the Golgi Apparatus and the Ribosomes to a Bus System/Stop and buses. The vauole could be a water tower. Mitochondria could be The Krusty Krab - Mitochondria (Krusty Krab) makes energy for the cell. Cell Membrane/Wall could be the where the ocean meets the land/sky. The ocean itself could represent the cytoplasm. Lysosomes could be like a library of some sort and the Nucleus could be the Mayor's office/house. I hope this helps you!
