HOW would i go about makeing spongebobs house out of cake?

how do bakers make cake in these difficult shapes i would like to make spongebobs house but dont know how to bake a cake in the shape of a pineapple a actuall 3d pineapple house...is there a store i can buy this baking pan shape of how does it work ....i was thinking bout bking to half circles then holding then together with iceing and fondant all around then decorating is that a good idea...
@ohsnap...how do i decorate the house with iceing to look juss like his house...i googled spongebobs house cakes and there only out of fondant can you google it and tell me how to do it with iceing i'd appreciate it..thx

I just "google image" searched spongebob house cake, and pulled up MANY pictures of cakes people had made, and most were more than willing to share their baking/decorating secret. Just click on the cakes you like, and see it there is a story attached. It appears that the best way to make the house is to use a football shaped cake pan. But do what I did, and look at some of them and see what you want to do. They are all a little bit different, but all really cute!

sponge cake recipe!HELP!?

so ive decided to bake a basic sponge cake, but i feel that the amount so sugar the recipe called for was wayy too much.

sure enough, it came out too sweet for my liking. im wondering if i can reduce the amount of sugar called for by about half. would the texture be drastically different?will my cake still rise??

You need:
Cake mix
Spongebob.

Mix Spongebob into the Cake mix, Dead or alive, I Prefer baking him alive, make the mix, and bake it according to the directions on the box.
