The cartoon? I used to love the show.
But recently, it has changed...a lot.

The episodes are so stupid right now. I hate it. It has changed so much.
Spongebob is now characterized as insane, and squidward as well.

...

And most of the episodes, ALL have the Krusty Krab in it, it's stupid.

I hate spongebob now.

Answer
I don't think it completely sucks now, occasionally there's a good episode here and there, with some good jokes here and there. It certainly isn't as good as it used to be though, some young children probably like the new ones better simply because the animation improved. I think the reason the show isn't as good as it used to be is because Stephen Hillenburg does not direct and make the episodes anymore. That's a real shame since Hillenburg is a cartoon genius. The problem with the new ones are:
the episodes seemed rushed,
the writers are begining to rely on cliched sitcom plots for their episodes,
Greenblatt and Hillenburg don't work on it anymore,
the songs aren't as good as they used to be,
the vocabulary has been dumbed down,
characters forget about experiences from previous episodes,
And things just seem to simplified.

The old ones used to be daring, witty, and had sexual induendos and even a little bit of marine biology. As for the new ones every new character has to be a fish for some reason, Hillenburg was more witty and introduce a different species. The new ones aren't so horrible though, they do have their positives such as:
better animation (early 2000s looked a lot better though),
more violence such as tearing flesh,
freemason easter eggs,
and a few decent specials.
Stephen Hillenburg should really just come back and fix the show though, and hopefully make a more daring episode like a WWII special or something.

What year did 'It's the Easter Beagle, Charlie Brown' come out?

Captain Cl

Answer
It's the Easter Beagle, Charlie Brown (1974)

The peanuts gang are up to their usual mischief in preparation for Easter Sunday, but no one seems to be listening to Linus. He swears that the Easter Beagle will come and make the celebrations complete. Typically no one listens to him, he is little bit 'Ralph Wiggum' remember.

Though Snoopy ends up being that very Beagle, he's far too busy trying to help out Woodstock. The poor little bird is freezing in his cruddy little nest full of cold water. So Snoopy goes off to the mall (already advertising Xmas goodies!) to buy him a bird house. With hilarious results.

After much hijinks and endless trips to the mall for eggs (Marcie keeps smashing them as she doesn't know how to do egg-painting) Snoopy saves the day and proves Linus right after all. Sigh! They don't make 'em like this anymore. I'll take Snoopy over Spongebob any day.
