spongebob overtime image

I can honestly say I have no real friends. I'm usually good with strangers because I have things to tell about, my life, funny events, where i volunteer, work etc, we see and find some common interest. But after I get to know them, and they get to know me, things get awkward. I just run out of what to talk about, everytime i met them, i have nothing to say. And overtime, we kinda get farther and farther apart. I try to stay in contact with them, but it seems as if they have lost all interest in me. :(
And i can't say, "hey, how's your day" because we're close enough, and well, that's really not i hear when friends talk to each other. even if i did ask then that, they say it's good --> conversation over. OR i tell them something funny that happened --> conversation over.
So do you have any tips for me?

Go on Facebook or Twitter! Its a great place to see whats trendy--- like what TV shows or jokes are popular right now. Discuss with your friend these jokes, or trends such as AMC's awesome TV show the Walking Dead. Get a joke book, watch some comedy movies, look at some internet memes! Odds are they haven't heard those jokes. Be very talkative and comment about everything. Their shirt, shoes, the weather, it dosent matter just comment on everything. If they are wearing a shirt with a design on it, talk about their design. "Oh I see your wearing a spongebob shirt. Remember when..."

What do you think of this controversial subject matter on "Spongebob Square Pants"?

I came upon this post today read below:
The Great Snail Race/ Midlife Crustacean. 2003
Mr.Crabs says that he isnt having a good time partying with Spongebob and Patrick because they are partying like "babies" (they are playing like kids) and right before he leaves, patrick says well then your gonna miss "the panty raid" Mr.Crabs goes on to say well if you boys do this he might think differently of them. So they go on a "panty raid" climbing into someones window and grabing their underwear to do what with them? It doesnt show because they get caught by Mr. Crabs mother(Is this suppost to make it better?)
(keep in mind Mr.Crabs is a owner of the Crusty Crab Dinner and is percieved by kids as an adult)
The ways they say this and draw it out is perverted and sick. My two daughters under 3 watch this kids show and to think that they would show this on the show and play it out as a good night out and normal is very disturbing to me and my family.
How did this come to be on Spongebob in the first place and be authorized to be shown? Never is this normal tv viewing. I happened to catch this and for me it was sick and wrong. They owe all children who watch this show an apology and to state that this is wrong viewing material for kids. -Steven & Becky Riverside Ca

I saw this post and thought it was worth looking into and thought this person may be overdoing it a bit but after watching the episode I have to admit the way this person speaks of the controversy even downplays it to me. Its one thing hearing about it but actually watching... It was actually pretty sick. Im not sure where you can watch it on the net but perhaps you can find it. I got ahold of it because my son just happens to have that season of episodes because he loves the show.
Watch it and tell me what you think. Just found this

EXACTLY ITS A CARTOON! FOR KIDS... AND YES THEY ARE GOING TO KNOW ABOUT IT BECAUSE ITS SHOVED IN THEIR FACE! THE AGE GROUP FOR THIS SHOW IS 1-7 YEARS DO YOU THINK A 7 YEAR OLD WONT UNDERSTAND THAT???? NOW WHEN THEY PLAY THEY ARE GONNA SAY ITS LIKE A BABY AND THEY SHOULD BE F****** WITH WOMENS UNDERWEAR AND BEING A PERVERT. IM GUESSING YOU DONT HAVE KIDS.
Yes I still think thats the worst out of all those that you listed. Probably about the same though about the killing the health inspector one. But ill give you best answer cause you werent one of those "get over it" or "your over reacting" people. Its messed up little kids watch it if they are 5 or 10...plain and simple its not good for kids to watch.

That episode bothers you, but you don't have an issue with the one where Spongebob and Patrick adopt a baby clam and move in together (and Spongebob spends most of the episode dressed in drag while Patrick "works overtime" watching TV at his own house instead of spending time with the baby)?
Or the episode where Spongebob (who, according to the show is 24 years old) dates Mr. Krabs high-school aged daughter?
Or the entire episode dedicated to Spongebob and Patrick learning curse words?
Or the valentine's day episode where Patrick goes on a violent rampage because Spongebob didn't get him a gift?
Or the one where Patrick wins an award for doing nothing longer than anyone else?
Or the episode where Spongebob pretends to be mentally retarded to convince Patrick's parents that Patrick is smarter than they believe him to be?
Or the episode where Mr. Krabs and Spongebob intentionally attempt to poison a health inspector and then bury his body after they believe they've killed him?
Or the episode in which an entire sun bathers party tans themselves into piles of ashes?
Or the episode where a serial strangler actually make multiple attempts are *killing* Spongebob?
... Really? it's the *panty raid* episode that bothers you? o.0
Edit: Incidentally... I don't know where you're getting the idea that the show is targeted at kids age 1 to 7. The show is rated TV Y-7 (and that rating appears at the beginning of all aired episodes)... which means it's intended for kids *over* 7, kids up to 7.
Spongebob is not, nor has it ever been, part of the Nick Jr. lineup, which is the block of shows aimed at kids under 7.
