Answer
ã¹ãã³ã¸ã»ããã¯ããªãã¨é¢ä¿ãããã¾ãã
suponji bobu wa anata to kankei ga arimasu.

This means "Spongebob has something with you". If you want to say "Spongebob is dating with you", then it's:

ã¹ãã³ã¸ã»ããã¯ããªãã¨ä»ãåã£ã¦ãã¾ãã
suponji bobu wa anata to tsukiatteimasu.

How come people say Japanese anime?

Bobby A

I hate when people say Japanese anime, it sounds stupid. If anime is supposed to be Japanese animation, why say the word Japanese before you say anime? Technically you're saying "I like Japanese Japanese animation" It's like saying you're going to attend a Jewish bar mitzvah. You don't have to say it's Jewish because it's something that only Jewish people do.

Answer
You do know anime comes from the french word l'animé or the shortened of the japanese ã¢ãã¡ã¼ã·ã§ã³ (animeshon), right? And that in Japan when they say "anime" they are refering to any type of animation at all. So Bambi is anime, Spongebob is anime, everything animated is anime, whether Japanese, European, anything. So don't get your panties in a bunch just because someone said "Japanese Animation," You're probably going to have a comeback that is similar to "yeah but the person who said it has no idea that anime can be so broadly used within the japanese language blah blah blah" something along that terms. The truth is that anime can refer to tons of things, depending on who the person is thats talking, who they are talking too, and about what, you know? Just another word kids off the internet picked up so they can speak weeabo.-> "Omg don't be baka, that anime chibi is so kawaii!" Also in America (as well a lot in France) there are more and more Japanese animation influences coming into our media, and yes I realize they are not the anime/manga you and I know, but the media such as FUNamation still license it and sell it as manga instead of graphic novels.

In the end, how much does it really matter?
