remember the full length spongebob movie?
does anyone know why the characters that were introduced in the movie, why weren't they new permanent characters in the following season? they were never shown on an episode afterwards. i would think they would add them to the cast, just like when the rugrats movies came out, dill and chuckie's sister and new step mom along with their dog fifi were introduced in the movies and became permanent characters.

Because Spongebob is supposed to be nonsense. Its not an ongoing show, one episode to the next is independent of each other. That's what makes it so great to watch.
