Why isn't spongebob on netflix?

One of the reasons why I got a netflix account was to watch spongebob. When I saw it wasn't on netflix, I got really disappointed. Will it ever be on netflix?

It used to be. You missed your chance

Nickelodeon is a Viacom company. On May 22nd, 2013, Viacom's contract with Netflix expired and it was not renewed

Amazon.com has a program called Amazon Prime. for 79 dollars a year (one yearly fee), you get free 2 day shipping (on items sold directly by amazon or fulfilled by amazon) and streaming videos

Viacom signed a deal with Amazon.com in 2012 to stream their content on their prime program, So when Viacom's contract with Netflix expired in May, Viacom didn't offer renewal

There are some movies based off Nickelodeon and other viacom channel shows still on Netflix but that's because Viacom is not in complete ownership of Paramount pictures

Spongebob is on Amazon prime

Does anyone know of any throwback cartoons from Disney, Nick, or Cartoon Network that are available on Netflix? If so please list them

I don't really have time to list all of them, but they're pretty easy to find if you look under the category "Cartoons" or "Feel-Good Animation."

Some of the ones off the top of my head:

-Courage the Cowardly Dog
-Johnny Bravo
-Cow & Chicken
-Dexter's Laboratory
-The Power Puff Girls

-The Great Mouse Detective
