Do you think Spongebob is inappropriate for younger children?

My kids are 2 and 3.5, & they both LOVE Spongebob. But my 3 yr old got mad the other day & called a kid "You Barnacle Head!" While I did find this funny, I didn't like him getting angry & calling names. He also called someone stupid once, bc he heard it on Spongebob. There's also an episode where they think they killed the health inspector, that I don't like them watching.. but they love the show, & it is kinda funny otherwise... Am I being over-protective?
Well I let them watch it, but sometimes I feel guilty for it like bc I wonder if it's something they shouldn't be watching.
And why am I being accused of my son's name calling? He may have gotten it from somewhere, but not from my house. The only thing I could think of was from Spongebob..
It's not like I just heard him say it and didn't correct him...!? I told him it was wrong, and now he knows... God people are just so judgmental, it's unbelievable! I was just asking what other PARENTS thought of Spongebob..

Spongebob isn't going to kill him, and i'm sure he would have gotten mad and called him something different if he hadn't have heard the word barnacle head. I think spongebob does kind of cross the line sometimes. If you're marketing as a children's show, they shouldn't have so many adult jokes in it. Obviously the children aren't going to understand them... but watch a few episodes and you'll be able to name a few. It really is harmless though.

I actually regularly watch spongebob, which says something since i'm an adult and I don't normally sit down and watch children's programs. I find it funny... but the jokes in them are SOOO subtle and worded in such a way no one who is under the age of 10 is going to understand them. It's really a treat for the parents lol. Like spongebob tries to get his snail to take a bath by pretending the tub is a treasure chest, takes out two bars of soap and says, "Here are the dubloons, don't drop em ;)" Obviously a reference to "Don't drop the soap." but no child is going to remember that or it even register in their mind.

What is a good tattoo to do my brother justice?

My brother died a little more then a year ago. I haven't heard from him in 4-5 years and I am still absolutely gutted about his death. I remember him telling me that he loved the Simpsons much more then Spongebob and when he died he still would. I remember him telling me that he would make Kraft Mac and Cheese for me and that'd it be the bomb. I remember him putting his hand on my heart..littlerly in car rides with my head on his left leg. always left. didn't want to make this q and a thing a sob story but what would be a good tattoo idea be to give him justice? i considered a simpsons quote with a simpson drawing and a bubble of the quote....or his initials and his birthday bc i dont want to mourn his death but celebrate his life...or simply his name.first name. plain and simple..but i want to make it special. i plan on only getting one tattoo and this is it. I want to make it special. no matter if it's a mistake, it's a mistake that i won't regret.. don't want to make it seem like i'm feeling bad for myself but this is how i feel. thank you for reading

Somewhere on your left side you should get his birthday. Like it it was January 1st 2000 it would be like 01/01/00 but then you could make it fancy in some different writing or get creative. Simple, classy. And it still honours him
