Just curious, but how old is spongebob (and friends) supposed to be?

Don't know, but even though they look like kids with their cartoony like appearance, they are actually adults (Spongebob, Patrick, Squidward can drive)
I would say something like 20's, but if you can see closely on his Driver License in " No Free Ride " (where Mrs. Puff gives Spongebob a driver's license so he could stop bugging her), Spongebob was born on July 16 1986 (21 in 2007).
I can assume that Patrick was born in the same year since they have been " best friends forever", but I can't say the exact month and date. No Idea for Sandy and Squidward either. Probably Mr. Krabs is about 60-ish, as he is old!
