I want to unlock my 3rd gen, but the question is - when u jailbreak an ipod are u able to download free stuff from itunes like spongebob episodes that are like 1$ for zero dollars lol, i just wanna know before i make this desicon and use black rain, and cydia. plzzz help thank u- EASY TEN POINTS!

You can't & don't have to unlock an iPod touch. Unlocking is for iPhones (by allowing them to use more than one carrier). No, jailbreaking does not make iTunes purchases free.

my friend has an app that let's you have cool themes on your lock screen and homescreen and it also let's you change te arrow you slide to unlock, it has themes like supermario spongebob kawaii and midnight beast but she won't tell me the app name. any help is much apreciated xxx

It actually sounds like she has jailbroken her device. Although this isn't illegal it WILL void any warranty your device currently holds. To jailbreak it just google "how to jailbreak an iPod" or something along those lines.
