What do you think of the programme Spongebob Squarepants?

Q. Well personally I HATE it. Its a stupid yellow sponge, with an annoying laugh, and an annoying voice. Basically he should return to the surface and DIE!

Its stupid but has a childish innocence to it & it keeps small children quite. My 2 yr old nephew loves this show - so does my best friend (25+ yrs old). She & I are giant kids. Once in a while, I will get a chuckle out of this show. Its still very stupid though!

I laugh at it but that is always how I felt when I was young and alone, it wasn't ordinary darkness there was something eerie about it. What is yours?

As Ralph once said on The Simpsons, "My cat's breath smells like cat food." We laugh at poor Ralph's simplicity, but it is simple minds that notice things that everyone else is too busy to pay attention to. And indeed, my cat's breath does smell like cat food.

CAn someone explain why they would bring their children to Las Vegas?

For the life of me, I dont understand it. You have so many great places to visit in this country, you choose to bring your kids to a hedonstic adult playground. Do you like exposing your kids to heavy drinking, half dressed women, gambling, and all out adult wildness? Even the family friendly places, which suck, still get crazy.

And lets not forget that when the adult partygoers dont want to see kids around also.
bananana.. your city would not even exsist if it wasnt for the things I mentioned with my bad "attiude". I was actually explaining the reasons why millions of people love to visit your city.
Well I love Vegas, and Ihave been there about 20 times over 10 years now. However when I have children they will NOT be coming to Vegas with me. And believe I am far from what you would consider a moral person.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but there is tons to do in Vegas for kids. I would always recommend bringing or hiring a babysitter if you do bring your kids so that you can have some gambling time. But if you take the gambling and alcohol out of Vegas, you are left with a city full of attractions and sights. Many hotels have attractions geared especially toward kids such as the Shark Reef, Spongebob 4D ride, Midway, Lion Habitat, Gameworks, M&M World 3D Movie, afternoon magic shows, the Adventuredome, etc. It's really no different than visiting any other tourist city except you have to be especially aware of the "sin" in sin city. Obviously you don't take your kids to casinos, bars or strip clubs, you shield them from the pornslappers and you get them into bed at a decent hour in order to stay in line with curfew rules as well as get them out of the partying that goes on at night.

No matter what you are going to have people who feel strongly on both sides of the issue :)
