Does Spongebob live in the Caribbean?

Because if Sandy is from Texas and they are always talking about Atlantis and King Neptune wouldn't that mean that Bikini Bottom is somewhere in the Gulf of Mexico or the Caribbean? Just wondering I love Spongebob.

Spongebob lives in the Pacific Ocean off the coast of California. There have been a few episodes where it shows California, or the movie, which had a zip code hidden that was California. Also, in the episodes with Patchy the Pirate, he mentions he lives in Encino, California, and sometimes gets in a row boat and paddles to Bikini Bottom, well that island above it at least.
As for Atlantis, in that episode they got in that magical bus which flew and took them there, so it must have just flew really really fast.

Who could I use for my modern day representation for Neptune,the God of the Sea?

How do you defeat Buckethead King Neptune on.....?

My 6 yr old son is playing The Spongebob Squarepants Movie game on his Gamecube and he's at the part where you have to defeat Buckethead King Neptune and we don't know how..does anyone??

he has to Jump over the goo that neptune shoots quickly while turning the tables in the spotlight by hitting them. then neptune gets angry and attempts to shoot at you with his trident, he has to hide behind mr krabs. The beam will reflect on the tables and daze Neptune. Then, hit him with a Sonic Wave Guitar and he will wake up. this repeats a bit with a bit of variety later on in the fight but nothing major.
